Communications Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join our team at Standard Bank Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies across multiple marketing channels, both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior leaders to deliver vision, values, and business performance messaging across all internal channels.
- Develop and implement external communications plans to improve client engagement and client experience.
- Work closely with HR to drive employee engagement, attract talent, and raise brand awareness through marketing initiatives.
- Manage and moderate all communication channels, including social media, email, and intranet.
- Collate content, organize, and drive monthly internal 'Townhall' presentations.
- Manage crisis communication plans and implement ongoing campaigns and communications.
- Support and deliver Social Impact campaigns and initiatives to enhance the Bank's reputation and visibility.
- Drive and manage brand and naming convention changes, including updating collateral.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical expertise and experience with SharePoint intranets and marketing tools.
- Experience working with email, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.
- Salesforce experience and HTML coding skills are desirable.
