About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Director to join our team at Evelyn Partners. As an Investment Director, you will be responsible for managing a diverse client base, including private clients, IFAs, and charities. Your primary objective will be to deepen client relationships by providing expert investment advice and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while developing new relationships through effective communication and personalized service.
  • Investment Advice: Provide expert investment advice and portfolio management to clients, taking into account their individual needs, risk tolerance, and financial goals.
  • Portfolio Construction: Construct and maintain suitable portfolios for clients, ensuring they align with their investment objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with professional services colleagues, such as tax and corporate finance, to develop and deepen client relationships.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow the business and contribute to the development of local and group-wide strategy.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a relevant level 6 qualification or above (aspiring for Level 7) and maintain an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess strong technical knowledge of investment management strategies and solutions, with the ability to effectively communicate them to clients.
  • Experience: Have a proven track record of managing client investment portfolios and providing investment advice, with experience of leading pitches and winning new business.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
