Fund Accounting Specialist with Private Equity Experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced fund accounting manager to join our team at Broadgate. As an expert in fund accounting, you will be responsible for managing and coaching junior staff members while providing exceptional support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate fund accounting activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Lead and develop junior staff members, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their growth and success
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Maintain a strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice and guidance
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and support
Requirements:
- Strong background in fund accounting, with experience working with private equity and venture capital funds
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with excellent technical knowledge and skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with a track record of developing and coaching junior staff members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- A strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP, with the ability to apply this knowledge to provide expert advice and guidance
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
