Private Equity Investment Manager

A Private Equity Investment Manager is sought for a prestigious high net worth fund based in London. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will work alongside an existing team member covering private equity buyout strategies from both a fund and co-investment perspective.
About the Role
- Sourcing and underwriting private equity and venture capital primary fund investments, with occasional co-investments/direct investments
- Monitoring and assessing existing fund investments
- Performance measurement, benchmarking and reporting of the private funds portfolio
- Detailed update reports on private fund investments
- Maintaining knowledge of the investable universe of private equity and venture capital funds
- Developing relationships with fund managers
Requirements
- Strong academic background and technical skills, preferably CFA qualified or equivalent
- Knowledge of private fund strategies, including private equity, venture capital and infrastructure
- Ability to source investment opportunities and cultivate key relationships
- Strong analytical and computer skills (Excel, MS Office and database management)
- Qualitative and quantitative skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Multi-tasking and handling multiple projects simultaneously
Compensation and Benefits
Estimated annual salary: £80,000 - £100,000, depending on experience. The role offers superb access to a range of managers and a small, lean team environment with plenty of capital to deploy.
