Supply Chain Analyst Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analyst to join our team at Right Now Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving our clients' logistics and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret data related to transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery (OTD) and average delivery lead time (ADL).
  • Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile sales volumes, accruals, and transport costs at the end of each month.
  • Oversee the inbound and outbound shipping process to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and evaluate incident logs to identify root causes and implement process improvements.
  • Liaise with third-party logistics suppliers to ensure seamless operations and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage inventory and material movements in SAP to ensure timely completion and compliance with company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a logistics, supply chain, data, or operations analyst role.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, and macros.
  • Previous exposure to the manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth understanding of logistics, incoterms, imports, or exports.
  • Previous experience working with SAP or similar systems.
