Job Title: Tutor for Children with Complex Needs

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking an experienced Tutor to provide one-to-one support to children with a range of complex needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in teaching English, Maths, Science, or SEN classes and experience working with students with SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver differentiated National Curriculum core subjects to students with complex needs
  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to support students with challenging behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with the student's support team to ensure a comprehensive support plan
  • Provide regular progress updates to the student's support team
Requirements:
  • QTS status or equivalent
  • Experience teaching students with SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD
  • Ability to work face-to-face with students in a community setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
