Are you a dedicated professional looking for a challenging role in Counter Terrorism Policing? We are seeking a highly skilled CBRN Radiological Specialist to join our team in the West Midlands.

Job Summary

We are looking for an individual with expertise in radiological and nuclear detection to support the planning and integration of equipment into the protective security layer of policing for major public events. You will also be responsible for supporting the response to any radioactive or nuclear source that is out of regulatory control.

This is a full-time position that requires travel to other locations within the UK, with an allowance provided for business travel, sustenance expense, and overnight accommodation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deploy radiological and nuclear detection equipment within the Protect and Pursue elements of the National Contest Strategy across the UK.
  2. Work with host Forces to deploy radiological and nuclear detection architecture into major public events.
  3. Support the development of bespoke deployment plans for operational activity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have experience working with radiological and nuclear detection equipment. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
