We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Emergency Practitioner within our Emergency Department. As a highly skilled practitioner, you will provide specialist care to patients with minor illnesses or injuries.

Key responsibilities include developing a 'no wait philosophy', supporting 'see and treat' streams, administering medication under Trust Patient Group Directions, and leading and managing teams within their scope of practice.

The successful candidate will work across multiple sites, including Minor Injuries Units and Urgent Treatment Centres, and be required to undertake training and complete a Minor Injury and Minor Illness University course.

This position requires advanced physical assessment skills, ordering laboratory and radiology investigations, making clinical decisions, and developing plans for patient care management.

Effective communication with colleagues and other multidisciplinary team members is crucial, as well as staying up-to-date with clinical and professional developments, and participating in ongoing audit and teaching programmes.

This role offers an attractive estimated salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum.
