About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Growth Manager to join our team at Recra Consulting.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and development through strategic partnerships and commercial opportunities.

Job Description:

  • To identify and source new business opportunities that align with company objectives.
  • To develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.
  • To negotiate contracts and agreements that drive improved profitability and value for the company.
  • To gather market intelligence and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • To work closely with the company board of directors to ensure alignment with company strategy.
  • To manage new business gains in accordance with agreed margin and profitability criteria.
  • To ensure company standards and values are upheld across all aspects of the business.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in the waste management and recycling sector.
  • Strong understanding of recovered paper and other recycling material qualities.
  • General knowledge of the local authority sector.
  • Successful business growth in a competitive commercial environment.
  • Experience in developing tenders and contracts.
  • Knowledge of UK and European waste and recycling legislation.
  • Educated to a good standard at A-Level or above.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent team player with a drive for results.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
