About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Care and Activities Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing activities that bring joy to our residents, while also helping the Home Manager to organize fundraising events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and promote the care home in the local community.
  • Provide support and guidance to colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient service.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in a care or community setting.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and residents.
  • Ability to recognize and report concerns regarding safeguarding and well-being.
