Salary and Benefits

We are offering competitive rates of pay: £17.37 per hour for day shifts and £23.10 per hour for night shifts.

All overtime worked on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is paid at an enhanced rate.

Double time is applied to all hours worked on Sundays.

Job Description

This permanent long-term position offers the opportunity to work on complex fabrications, enhancing your skills and pride in being part of multi-million pound projects.

You will be working from engineers' drawings and have the chance to learn total station.

As a plater, you will be responsible for setting up jobs, marking out for jigs, and using hand tools and burning equipment.

You must be comfortable working independently or as part of a team and adhere to all health and safety practices at all times.

Correct PPE must be worn at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We require a time-served welder or plater with Apprentice-trained or NVQ 3 qualifications.

You must be competent and confident in working from technical drawings and have excellent communication skills.

Able to use various hand tools and burning equipment is essential.
