Senior Nurse Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Leader to join our Public Health Department as the Lead Nurse for Immunisation and Health Protection. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate the Health Protection and Immunisation service, ensuring provision of a comprehensive health prevention service across the Health Board.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate the Health Protection and Immunisation service, ensuring provision of a comprehensive health prevention service across the Health Board.
- Develop and implement high-quality Health Protection and Immunisation services across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, and Pembrokeshire localities.
- Act as a source of specialist knowledge and expertise for professionals, the population, and other stakeholders on all matters relating to health protection, immunisations, and vaccinations.
Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and its bordering counties. Person Specification:- Significant post-registration nursing experience in community or public health nursing.
- Significant experience of working in health protection, immunisation, and vaccination services.
- Experience of working with WG Immunisation Lead and implementation of WG initiatives and national policies.
- Experience of partnership working with Public Health, Heads of services, Primary Care, and independent contractors.
- Experience of training and facilitating staff and practice development.
- Experience of policy development.
- Experience of project management.
