Network Rail is seeking a highly skilled Regional Environmental Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating liaison arrangements with environmental stakeholders, providing expert support and guidance on all environmental matters, and updating and maintaining environmental records and documentation.

This role requires a strong understanding of environmental management systems, as well as experience in maintenance delivery processes and techniques. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, influencing, communication, and organisation skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support and guidance on all environmental matters to ensure legislative compliance.
  • Coordinate liaison arrangements with environmental stakeholders.
  • Update and maintain environmental records and documentation to support the environment management system and emergency plans.
  • Develop and implement a programme of surveillance and inspection checks.
  • Maintain closeout of environmental non-conformances.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
