Cast UK Limited is seeking an experienced Category Buyer to join our client's team. As a Category Buyer, you will play a crucial role in managing indirect spend, covering various aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead negotiations with Facilities suppliers to agree pricing and contractual terms
- Agree supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks
- Deliver cost-saving initiatives by analysing market trends and conducting cost-benefit analysis to optimise procurement decisions
- Develop positive relationships with key suppliers, addressing any issues related to quality, service delivery, or contractual compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business to understand stakeholder requirements and ensure procurement strategies align with business objectives
- 2 years' experience in a procurement role
- Relevant category experience (facilities management / site services)
- Confident negotiation and influencing skills
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings and added value
- CIPS desirable but not essential
- Fantastic opportunity to further develop your procurement skills in a strategic focused role
