We are seeking a highly skilled Training Team Leader to provide management support to our instructor team, ensuring continuous development through delivery of upskilling, mentoring, and one-to-one support.

The successful candidate will provide operational support to our South training team, maintain good working relationships with our Location Services Managers for their training centre portfolio, and work with our Head of External Training to drive business efficiencies and revenue growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, appraisals, and IQA's in line with HR policy and skills matrix
  • Maintain good working relationships with our Location Services Managers, providing regular training centre audits and ensuring good practices are maintained
  • Perform monthly desktop audits in line with accrediting body standards
  • Attend monthly PRM meetings and present team performance
  • Report and measure team and individual performance in line with business KPI's
  • Host a monthly team meeting to present business updates, key focus areas, and updates
  • Deliver training courses to delegates across the region with extensive travel across multiple sites
  • Be an ambassador for quality health and safety, including the well-being of customers where required
  • Ensure all courses are carried out to the criteria required by external awarding bodies
  • Drive compliance of paperwork as required by external awarding bodies and upload to the governing body once the course has been completed
  • Responsible for providing training at the required standards of the business and external bodies
  • Direct any leads to relevant sales teams
  • Prepare and deliver training as required
  • Assist with any formal audits/verification as required
  • Assist with planning and arrangements as required
  • Undertake training assessments and complete documentation, within the relevant service level agreement
  • Maintain up-to-date and easily accessible training records
  • Compile and complete a record demonstrating a minimum of 30 hours Continuing Professional Development
