Technical Training Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer to join our team at Leidos. As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient training to Leidos staff, customers, and users. Your primary goal will be to ensure the correct operation and maintenance of company equipment and products.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Trainer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting and developing all technical training programs (internal and external) for a wide range of products, technologies, and working practices in line with the Company Operating Procedure.
- Delivering courses for training technical employees and/or customers in the use and/or maintenance and repair of all products. You may conduct training in-house or at customer locations throughout EMEAI.
- Educating classes on safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Assisting in determining training objectives and leading in the development of training course curricula (outlines, handouts, tests, etc.).
- Developing criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
- Maintaining records of training activities and employee progress.
- Administering written and practical exams and writing performance reports to evaluate trainees' progress.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Excellent knowledge of electronic and mechanical assemblies as well as wiring diagrams, schematics, and complex digital and analogue circuitry.
- Excellent knowledge of complex mechanical systems, familiarity with test equipment (standard power tools, mechanical/digital measuring devices, multi-meter, oscilloscope, and safety equipment).
- Excellent customer interface, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written in a technical environment.
- Proven experience of successfully delivering and/or developing technical training programs.
- Knowledge of learning theories and skilled in classroom presentation.
- Previous experience in a similar working environment.
- Wide-ranging technical background.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Completion of a technical trade school or military training is also desirable. Additionally, you will need to have a clean driving license, full passport, and the ability to obtain an airside pass with 5 years of employment references attainable.
Working Environment
