Accounts Payable Transformation Finance Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transformation Finance Business Analyst to join our team at Robert Walters Operations Limited.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dynamic accounts payable team and contribute to the standardisation of our accounts payable processes.

As a Transformation Finance Business Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering user requirements to functional specification documentation, handling documentation that enables unit and user testing completion.

Your ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders will be crucial in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strong relationships with accounts payable and project teams to gain their trust and credibility
  • Working with the business to define and document a full set of user requirements
  • Documenting the 'As Is' and 'To Be' solution or user stories using standard work and process maps as required
  • Defining and documenting the functional requirements, engaging with relevant digital counterparts and business user representatives
  • Concluding the accounts payable documentation cycle with approvals for both user specifications and functional requirements / Requirements Traceability matrices
  • Post development - transitioning solutions into user training material, training and scripts
  • Leading all activities from requirement to functional specification, utilising both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Supporting all testing activities within the project with a strong focus on ensuring full participation from the user community

The ideal candidate for this role will bring a wealth of experience in business analysis, proven experience in gathering project requirements for accounts payable using both waterfall and agile methodologies, and extensive knowledge of accounts payable processes as well as being able to manipulate data and present findings.
