We are seeking an experienced Medical Administrative Coordinator to join our Paediatric Clinical Therapies team, providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves working flexibly across services to provide a booking service, process clinic changes, cover the call centre, process referrals, and undertake various administrative tasks.

You will build and maintain close relationships with clinical administrative teams, ensuring accurate data recording using SystmOne and E-referral systems, and book outpatient/inpatient events as instructed by clinicians.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above, or equivalent">
  • Prior experience working in a clinical/administrative role, with a commitment to acquiring knowledge of RTT national and local waiting time rules">
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal diplomatically with diverse personalities and situations">
  • A methodical and organised approach to work, with strong time management and prioritisation skills">
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision, while maintaining close working relationships with the team">
