About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Wallace Hind Selection. As a key member of our sales function, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expansion in the industrial components and consumables market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the industrial components and consumables market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at senior management and board level at manufacturing and construction companies.
  • Conduct deep dive exercises with customers to understand their operational and efficiency challenges and develop tailored supply chain solutions.
  • Lead multi-stage sales processes to win high-value business deals, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in business development, account management, or sales roles in the industrial components and consumables market.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial or technical components, consumables, and equipment, as well as associated supply chain, logistics, operational, or technological solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to converse at board level.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
