Senior BDM - Commercial Real Estate Role

Corporate Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Sheffield/wider South Yorkshire. As a Senior BDM - Commercial Real Estate, you will play a key role in identifying and developing business opportunities and building professional relationships to help our client achieve its strategic and business plan objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for your respective region and target market, working closely with the Regional Director (RD) to achieve maximum profitability against sales targets.
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities from new to bank customers and brokers, ensuring all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
  • Promote, identify, qualify, and pass on leads to other bank teams, ensuring effective communication links with all relevant departments.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Operations Team to onboard and drawdown deals for new to bank clients, retaining overall responsibility for all conditions for a loan until drawdown has occurred.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and annual review activity, preparing regular forecasts to enable effective forward planning.
  • Encourage enrolment of new customers in customer satisfaction surveys to identify scope for improvements in product quality and service delivery.
  • Maintain a high level of market awareness, monitoring the sales performance of competitors to ensure the bank maintains and develops its competitive position.
Requirements:
  • A proven record of success in business development and sales, preferably in a related industry.
  • An understanding of the relevant rules under the financial services acts.
  • A high level of financial and commercial awareness, including credit analysis.
  • Excellent sales and interpersonal skills, with an impressive record of achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly build relationships with customers or stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and results-oriented, with a clear ability to plan and prioritise to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded.
