Nurse Specialist - Acute Oncology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Specialist to join our Acute Oncology Service at The London Clinic. This role involves coordinating the delivery of a comprehensive Acute Oncology Service, offering a competitive salary range of £42,756 - £52,248 per year.

The London Clinic, a leading private hospital, is dedicated to providing expert, individualized treatment and care in a supportive environment. As the Acute Oncology Service Nurse Specialist, you will be a clinical expert and professional resource, providing specialist support and maintaining high AOS clinical standards.

  • Collaborate with the AOS CNS to deliver AOS services
  • Support the development of nursing practice and policy
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge in the principles of SACT
  • Be responsible for policy developments and implementation
  • Provide mentorship, supervision, and education to equip nurses for role expansion

Required Skills & Experience:

  • RGN with valid NMC registration
  • Considerable post-registration experience in acute hospital setting
  • Cancer experience in SACT
  • Post-registration course within the Oncology specialism
  • Clinical leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills
