About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Autism Education Support Professional to join our team at Wessex Lodge School. As an essential member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with complex needs, including Autism, SEMH, ADHD, and Communication difficulties.

In this dynamic role, you will work closely with our experienced staff to deliver personalized support and create a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth. Your expertise in working with autistic pupils will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goal of improving life outcomes for every student.

Job Description:
  • You will have a proven track record of working with pupils in educational settings and experience of working with autistic pupils.
  • You will need to possess a Full Manual Driving Licence and be willing to undertake personal care duties to support our students.

A full training and development program will be provided to ensure your success in this role. You will also have the opportunity to develop new skills and take on additional responsibilities as you grow within the organization.

Requirements:
  • GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths is preferred but not required.
  • You must have a passion for working with vulnerable young adults and a commitment to creating a positive impact on their lives.
