About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Assistant to join our team at North Hill House. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of our students with high-functioning autistic spectrum disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering educational activities and supporting students with their work
  • Provide individualized support to students with autism and other special educational needs
  • Establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with students with autism and other special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
