About the Role

We are seeking a qualified nurse or paramedic to join our team as a Police Custody Nurse or Paramedic. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, providing high-quality care to detainees in custody suites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care to detainees in custody suites, working closely with the police to ensure their health and wellbeing needs are met.
  • Work in a team environment, covering custody suites 24/7 to ensure the safety of detainees.
  • Participate in a rolling rota pattern, working fixed shifts and overtime as required.
  • Develop and maintain clinical skills, including forensic care and patient assessment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to detainees.

  • A competitive salary of £40,000 per year, plus a £1000 bonus after 12 months service.

Requirements

  • Qualified nurse or paramedic with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Valid driving licence and ability to work in the UK.
  • Police vetting and DBS clearance.
