About the Role

Hamilton Barnes is seeking an experienced Electrical System Manager to join their team. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will oversee and manage HV and LV electrical systems, ensuring safe operation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Issue and cancel Permits to Work, ensuring all personnel are aware of electrical safety requirements
  • Perform risk assessments and develop method statements to ensure safe working practices
  • Deliver technical support and create safety documentation
  • Ensure site adherence to safety regulations
  • Mentor team members and address on-site challenges

Requirements

  • Ability to issue full safety documents such as permits to work and sanctions for test
  • Track record of performing complex switch operations
  • Background in controlling works on high voltage systems
  • Experience being responsible for full risk assessments and safety planning
  • Strong supervisory experience overseeing and delegating responsibilities to AP's and other personnel
  • Certified to work on UKPN
