Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple work packages and stakeholders, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engineering deliverables meeting technical and business objectives
- Implement and execute cost and schedule control, including NRC planning and earned value management
- Support chief engineer in execution of program risk management
- Manage change and scope control, and initiate corrective measures as needed
- Provide day-to-day operational management to the engineering project team
- Identify work packages suitable for offloading to external suppliers
- Generate technical reports and presentations
- Manage and develop requirements and specifications
- HND or degree in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering
- Experience in technical project leadership, including developing and coaching people
- Experience specifying and developing electrical/electronic systems
- Experience in mechanical design, integration, and test of electrical/electronic systems
Competitive salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum dependent on experience, plus up to 15% bonus, industry-leading pension scheme, life assurance (8 x salary), 185 hours holiday per year, plus bank holidays, relocation support (if applicable), hybrid working, income protection, shopping discounts, cycle to work scheme, and employee assistance programme.
