About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high standards of care to our residents, including undertaking nursing tasks, advising families and GPs, and supervising staff within the care team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake nursing tasks, including medication management, wound care, and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Advise families and GPs of any changes in condition, ensuring they are informed and involved in care decisions.
  • Supervise and deploy staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during duty periods.
  • Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in care, supported by relevant post-basic studies or qualifications.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
  • Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
