About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tenders and Contracts Specialist to join our team at Stryker UK Limited. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in managing the entire tender process, from identification to evaluation, and ensuring seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify tender opportunities through relevant platforms and websites
  • Manage the Go/No-Go decision process with stakeholders and record consensus
  • Register all identified tenders in Nexus for direct and indirect tenders
  • Review and understand key tender requirements and terms and conditions
  • Initiate and lead tender kick-off meetings, pricing meetings, and lessons learned meetings
  • Create tender action plans with Gantt charts, tasks, documents, RACI, and deadlines
  • Coordinate a multidisciplinary team in tender activities to create the commercial offer
  • Review total tender submissions and obtain approvals according to the DOA approval matrix
  • Proactively communicate timelines and status updates with all stakeholders
  • Support pricing specialists in price evaluations
  • Evaluate tender outcomes (win/loss)
  • Maintain the Tender forecast and pipeline for senior management
  • Manage the distribution of draft and finalized contracts (internal and external)
  • Manage contract renewals through Nexus and contract compliance tools
  • Maintain and develop the internal contract management system, providing easy access to all proposals and contracts
  • Contract compliance tracking of sales and volume performance against customer commitments
  • Collaborate with sales to gather publicly available market information on competitor contracts
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, PPT, & Excel)
  • Ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset
  • Structured and organized planner
  • Articulate, numerical, and process-oriented individual
  • Diplomatic team player focused on hitting deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience in Tenders & Contracts is desirable but not essential
