Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse Ward Manager

Service Care Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse Ward Manager to join our team at one of our Independent Hospitals in Somerset.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse Ward Manager to lead our ward team in delivering high-quality care to our patients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining high standards of care, recognizing the value of effective communication and developing therapeutic relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ward team to deliver high-quality care, utilizing your expert knowledge and clinical judgment.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of care, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Recognize the development needs of individuals and the team, investing in training, mentoring, and coaching to achieve success.
  • Contribute to Clinical Governance and improving quality standards, chairing Team Incident Reviews and focusing on lessons learned.
  • Act as a clinical supervisor, ensuring all staff participate in clinical supervision and experience of management and leadership.
  • Be a site Safeguarding Lead, having cases allocated to investigate and support vulnerable people to be kept safe.

Requirements:

  • Someone with a real passion for caring and helping people.
  • Ideally 1 year's experience as a Ward Manager or 10 years as a RMN.
  • Current and valid Pin.
  • Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
