Nuclear Commissioning Opportunity

£47.61 per hour is the competitive hourly rate for this Commissioning Engineer EC&I role based in Seascale, Cumbria.

The Energy Division at ARM is currently recruiting an experienced Commissioning Engineer- EC&I to join a world-leading nuclear client based on Sellafield.

Job Overview:

The Box Encapsulation Plant project is one of the most important construction projects at the Sellafield Site. The plant will play a vital role in Sellafield's 100-year clean-up programme by taking nuclear waste recovered from the site's original waste plants and encasing it in concrete so it can be stored in a modern building.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out vendor testing witnessing duties at works test
  • Preparation of plant commissioning test specifications
  • Early inspection of site installation to facilitate system handovers
  • Execution of testing activities throughout IPC commissioning phase
  • Identification of faults and ability to propose and implement solutions
Requirements:
  • Nuclear CE&I systems commissioning experience
  • Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering related subject or equivalent
  • Experience in nuclear commissioning
  • Project management knowledge, preferably APM member
