We are looking for a highly skilled Metallography Expert to join our Hot Cell Characterisation team at National Nuclear Laboratory's Active Handling Facility (AHF).
The ideal candidate will have experience working with nuclear materials and be able to obtain SC level security clearance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing high-quality metallographic samples for examination.
- Maintaining good housekeeping practices.
- Recording experimental data in electronic formats.
- Adhering to Health and Safety, Quality, and Security requirements.
- Providing support for equipment maintenance, modification, and commissioning.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
