Job Summary
Manpower UK Ltd is recruiting a Commercial Vehicle Workshop Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring that all service work is carried out efficiently and effectively. They will also be responsible for managing and coaching a team of Commercial Vehicle Technicians and Apprentice Technicians, participating in aftersales meetings, and determining training requirements for the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of a leading commercial vehicle dealership. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the automotive industry, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of workshop practices. They will be able to manage and motivate a team, ensure high-quality work, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop
• Ensure that all service work is carried out efficiently and effectively
• Manage and coach a team of Commercial Vehicle Technicians and Apprentice Technicians
• Participate in aftersales meetings
• Determine training requirements for your team, in line with manufacturer standards
• Provide excellent customer service and support

Requirements
Relevant experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of workshop practices are essential. Excellent leadership and proven people management skills, along with technical knowledge gained through technical qualification or relevant experience, are also required. Knowledge of HGV/LCV inspection standards & road legal requirements/ documentation, as well as organisational skills and the ability to communicate well with customers and colleagues across departments, are necessary. Proficiency in IT, including all aspects of MS Office and a Dealer Management System (preferably Kerridge), is also expected.

Salary
A competitive salary of £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, is on offer. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday hours, with opportunities for professional growth and development. If you are an experienced automotive professional looking for a challenging role, please apply.
