AWS DevSecOps Engineer

As a leading insurance company, esure Group is seeking a highly skilled AWS DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. This role will play a key part in safeguarding our information systems and networks from security breaches and cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and supporting IT operations, business-as-usual activities, and ongoing projects.
- Contribute within an Agile environment, using tools like Jira and Jira Service Management.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including run books and diagrams.
- Monitor network infrastructure and cloud environments (PRTG, SNMP, Prometheus) to ensure robust security operations.
- Improve automation through scripting and infrastructure management using AWS, Azure, OCI, Python, and Terraform.
- Write and maintain scripts in Python, Bash, and other languages to integrate and optimize security tools.
- Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery efforts.
- Deliver training and education programs to raise information security awareness and promote standard processes across the organisation.
- Ability to learn / upskill on cloud networking and cloud security technologies.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
