Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Williams Manufacturing. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes holidays, bank holidays, pension contributions, and opportunities for career advancement.

Location

The position is based in Dudley, with a working schedule of Monday to Friday, Double Days.

About the Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining electrical systems within our manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting both reactive and planned preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy production machinery.
  • Working with equipment such as induction furnaces, automated casting lines, milling and rolling machines, and overhead cranes.
  • Performing fault diagnosis on PLC systems, primarily Siemens S5/S7.
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects and facilities maintenance as needed.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong background in electrical maintenance within the manufacturing sector, particularly in heavy industries.
  • Apprentice training or equivalent experience, with 18th Edition certification being advantageous.
  • Experience with 3-phase machinery and a solid understanding of electrical systems.
