Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Williams Manufacturing. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience, along with benefits including holidays, bank holidays, pension contributions, and opportunities for career advancement and professional development.

Location

The position is based in Dudley, working a Monday to Friday schedule with double shifts.

About the Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining electrical systems within a large-scale manufacturing environment. We are looking for candidates with a background in heavy industry, particularly those with experience in sectors such as metal processing, steel production, foundries, or similar fields.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct both reactive and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of heavy machinery.
  • Work on equipment including induction furnaces, automated casting lines, milling and rolling machines, and overhead cranes.
  • Perform fault diagnosis and repairs on PLC systems, primarily Siemens S5/S7.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and assist with facilities maintenance as needed.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Apprenticeship training or equivalent experience in electrical maintenance.
  • Experience in heavy industry settings.
  • 18th Edition certification is advantageous.
