Primary Teaching Assistant - SEN Specialist Opportunity

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in Bournemouth. As a Primary Teaching Assistant - SEN Specialist, you will provide high-quality support to primary pupils with complex special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with complex needs in the classroom and around the school.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement tailored provision for pupils.
  • Support pupils in small group settings and 1:1 sessions.
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment that promotes pupil well-being and academic success.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with challenging additional needs.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and Key stages.
  • Proactive and patient approach to supporting pupils.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with teachers and other staff.
