We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. As the ideal candidate, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of providing exceptional patient care through efficient administrative support.

The successful applicant will have a good working knowledge of Emis and previous experience working within a GP surgery. This is an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-quality patient services.

Salary: £12.00 per hour +, negotiable depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Medical Administrator to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proven track record of managing appointment diaries efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage patient schedules and appointment diaries efficiently
  2. Respond to phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and direct them to the appropriate personnel
  3. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
  4. Process patient registrations, insurance forms, and payments
  5. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
  6. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
  2. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is advantageous
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
  5. Proficiency in using office software and electronic health records systems
  6. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
