**Job Overview:**

G S3 Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Advisor to join their team in Ardersier, Inverness.

Salary:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as digs, company car, and fuel card for permanent positions. Contract staff will be paid £250-£300 per day.

Job Description:

This exciting opportunity involves promoting health, safety, and environmental best practices within a construction environment. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with the Senior Health and Safety Manager to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and foster a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:*

  • Safety Compliance: Prevent injuries and damage to equipment. Ensure adherence to legal and company requirements.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ensure correct provision and use across site operations.
  • Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety standards and statutory codes.
  • Health & Safety Documentation: Assist in preparing method statements, safety rules, and reports, maintaining accurate records.
  • Training & Inductions: Support delivering site inductions, toolbox talks, task briefings, and method statement reviews.
  • Incident Investigation: Assist in investigating accidents and incidents, making recommendations for prevention.
  • Safety Protocols & Client Requirements: Help develop and implement safety protocols meeting client needs.
  • Legislative Updates: Stay informed on latest safety legislation and ensure team members are updated.
  • Environmental Awareness: Ensure site adheres to environmental policies and objectives, contributing to sustainable practices.
