Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor
Undisclosed is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team in Ardersier, Inverness. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for promoting, advising, training, and consulting on all aspects of health, safety, and environmental issues within a construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prevent injuries and damage to plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with legal and company health, safety, and welfare requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory codes of practice, and method statements.
- Support in delivering site inductions, toolbox talks, task briefings, and method statement reviews.
- Help develop and implement safety protocols, ensuring they meet client requirements.
- Ensure the site adheres to environmental policies and objectives, contributing to sustainable construction practices.
Requirements:
- Level 3 NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (Essential)
- CSCS Card (Essential)
- Behavioural Safety Training (Desirable)
- Temporary Works Awareness (Desirable)
- Lifting Operations Training (Desirable)
