The Scouts Association has been a cornerstone of UK society for over 112 years, dedicated to empowering young people and volunteers across the country. Our Chief of Staff Department is integral to our ongoing transformation and is at the heart of change and transformation for the organisation.

About the Role:

As the Chief of Assurance, you will:

  • Develop and implement the assurance framework for The Scouts Association
  • Establish a central Assurance Team at The Scouts Association (for the first time)
  • Oversee and manage a variety of strategic projects and initiatives
  • Work closely with various teams within the Chief of Staff Department to ensure effective delivery of objectives
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of our young people and adult volunteers

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the assurance framework for The Scouts Association

• Establish a central Assurance Team at The Scouts Association (for the first time)

• Oversee and manage a variety of strategic projects and initiatives

• Work closely with various teams within the Chief of Staff Department to ensure effective delivery of objectives

• Ensure the safety and well-being of our young people and adult volunteers

What We Offer:

The Scouts Association offers a competitive salary of £70,000 per annum, 35 hours per week, and a hybrid working arrangement. We are committed to diversity and actively seeking applicants from a wide range of backgrounds.
