About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher to join our team at Places Leisure. As a Swimming Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities. Your passion for teaching and swimming will inspire and motivate our customers to achieve their goals and develop a lifelong love of swimming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver swimming lessons to customers in a fun and engaging manner, using a range of teaching methods and techniques to cater to different learning styles.
  • Assess customer progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their swimming skills.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and deliver swimming programs that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Contribute to the development of our swimming team, sharing best practices and ideas to improve our services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge as a Swimming Teacher.

Requirements

  • Hold a minimum of UKCC Level 2 qualification in swimming teaching.
  • Have a strong passion for teaching and swimming, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Have a commitment to ongoing learning and development, with a desire to continuously improve your skills and knowledge as a Swimming Teacher.
