Job Title: Apprentice Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team at ICM Group. As an Apprentice Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Downstream Operation Engineering Solutions Department (OESD) in providing high-quality technical support to our operating facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of existing SRU and SWS facilities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing recommendations to enhance process safety, optimize manufacturing costs, and increase plant reliability.
  • Develop and issue quarterly performance benchmarking reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing actionable insights for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with facilities to implement recommendations and close identified gaps, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of projects.
  • Conduct benchmarking and best practices exchange workshops with Global Manufacturing facilities, promoting knowledge sharing and technology exchange.
  • Provide on-demand remote and/or field technical advisory support to Global Manufacturing facilities, addressing process troubleshooting, start-up and shutdown activities, capacity test runs, technology pilot testing, and process design.
  • Issue service reports for every support activity, highlighting facilities' needs, actions taken, results, and lessons learned.
  • Conduct internal assessments on SRU and SWS process engineering standards, identifying areas for improvement and recommending best practices.
  • Support the implementation of relevant engineering standards to SRU and SWS across Global Manufacturing, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Coordinate technical knowledge exchange workshops with SRU and SWS process technology licensors and Global Manufacturing facilities, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related specialization; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of total refinery or gas plants process units experience, with at least 10 years' experience in handling SRUs/TGTU/SWS plants.
  • Exposure to different SRU/TGTU process licensor technologies is a plus.
