Job Title: Compliance Transport Planner

CV Library is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Transport Planner to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering the daily plan in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining full compliance in line with the company's SLA.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement a Cost-Effective Delivery Plan: Develop and implement a cost-effective and efficient delivery plan that enables targets to be met and customers to maintain production while dealing with any real-time event management.
  2. Support Planning and Resource Management: Support with planning to ensure the planned number of drivers are all available to complete the delivery plan, and manage daily resources including agency, internal support, and subcontractors to adhere and achieve trunking requirements.
  3. Escalate Issues and Discrepancies: Escalate any issues or discrepancies to the planning team and service delivery manager, and ensure effective communication of any issues to internal and external parties via agreed methods.
  4. Vehicle Planning and Maintenance: Follow the planned maintenance schedule to ensure the company's fleet remains fully compliant while delivering operational efficiency, enabling all equipment to be maintained in the most cost-effective way and in line with the business O licence undertakings.
  5. Deputise and Financial Awareness: Deputise in the absence of the Transport Planner, and demonstrate financial awareness and vehicle planning experience.
