Job Title: Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Caterpillar is seeking a skilled Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Stockton site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical and mechanical equipment, including lasers, CNC machinery, and general jigs and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedules to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet high quality standards.
  • Collaborate with electrical and mechanical contractors to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
  • Develop and maintain work procedures and standards for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Respond to machinery breakdowns and log production issues to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Support the Technical Resources Services Department in the installation of new equipment.
Requirements:
  • Electrically biased with a good mechanical understanding.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve production-related issues.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to make decisions and have accountability for actions.
