About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Live In Care Assistant. As a Live In Care Assistant, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and snacks, and maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to help clients feel connected and engaged
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or needs

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care setting or interacting with older adults
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, trustworthiness, and respect for clients' autonomy
