DP World is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our new service in Hinckley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution fulfillment service, meeting customer service levels, and achieving productivity targets.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of Team Leaders and Operatives in the delivery of a fast-paced distribution fulfillment service for e-commerce customers.
  • Achieve productivity levels in line with agreed KPIs and ensure customer service levels are met in line with customer SLAs.
  • Ensure safe working practices and adherence to safe working methods and countermeasures.
  • Manage succession planning, cross-training, and manpower planning to foster a multi-skilled workforce culture.
  • Investigate, document, and take appropriate action for issues under the Company's disciplinary and grievance policy and procedure.
  • Ensure quality is maintained in line with six sigma to achieve the required DPM rate.
  • Maintain a daily communication channel with other functions, such as Inventory, Admin, etc.

Key Skills:

  • Strong previous leadership experience in fast-paced warehouse/fulfillment environments.
  • Highly numerate and IT-literate with excellent communication skills.
  • Team player with a hands-on approach.
  • Flexibility to cover weekends and late deliveries when required.
  • Strong communication skills with carriers and customers.
  • Warehouse operations knowledge.
