About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager to join our Operations team at Chemring Energetics UK Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the Master Production Schedule (MPS) process, coordinating demand status from Sales and Operating Plan, and developing planning capability.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning the Master Production Schedule (MPS) process
  • Coordinating demand status from Sales and Operating Plan
  • Developing planning capability
  • Ensuring delivery of technically compliant solutions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years planning experience in an ERP-based manufacturing purchasing environment
  • Knowledge and practical experience of modern planning practices and procedures within an ERP-driven manufacturing environment
  • Numerate and computer literate
  • Adept in verbal and written communication
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems including parameter setting, material and labour recording
