About the Role

As the Deputy Hospital Manager, you will step into a dynamic leadership role where you will have a direct impact on the quality of care provided. Working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm (with on-call duties), you will help ensure that all departments, from psychology to occupational therapy, run smoothly and effectively. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, providing operational and clinical leadership while driving forward innovative care practices.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: A qualified Senior Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) with at least 2 years of management experience.
  • Leadership: A proven track record in leading teams and promoting high standards of care.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to inspire, engage, and present information effectively to a senior audience.
  • Strategic Thinking: Experience working with external partners, commissioners, and stakeholders, while navigating complex clinical situations.
  • Patient Focus: A commitment to setting therapeutic boundaries and de-escalating challenging behaviors in a positive, supportive manner.
