Job Description
  • Producing complete estimates up to £2M using estimating software.
  • Preparing tender packages for subcontractors and reviewing returned documents.
  • Involvement in finalizing and adjudicating tenders, including value engineering suggestions.
  • Generating Schedule of Rates for each successful tender.
  • Liaising with the project management team to review tender documents.
  • Providing necessary clarification on proposed attendances and contract terms to limit commercial risk.
  • Site surveys and attending internal project handover meetings.
  • Assisting and supporting project management teams and processes.
  • Preparing management projects reports for management teams.
  • Ensuring successful bids are handed over to PMs, ensuring their full understanding of the project.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of pricing minor mechanical and electrical items within tenders.
  • Able to identify risks and opportunities within a tender.
