Product Support Specialist with Italian Language Expertise

About the Role
We are seeking a Product Support Engineer with Italian language expertise to provide high-quality technical support to our customers and install bases of Security Products' ACVS division. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with SI/channel partners and field engineers to provide configuration, commissioning, and installation-related services, including fault findings, firmware and software upgrades, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in Linux and Microsoft operating systems and applications
- Develop and maintain support documentation, including procedural documentation
- Install and configure hardware, software, and related IT equipment and devices
- Support Windows server, network, and computing infrastructure, including housekeeping tasks and daily checks
- Evaluate and test new technology and infrastructure
- Ensure ongoing compliance with agreed standard IT solutions and related security practices
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of our support portal and drive innovation in the team
Requirements
- Ability to work from the Belfast office two days a week
- Fluency in English and Italian, with a good working knowledge of other European languages
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
- Awareness of or experience with Windows XP/7 or Linux
- Applicants must have a degree in IT, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Candidates must be based in the UK and have work authorisation for full-time employment
